APPLICATIONS

Pro-Line’s Non-UL Black Welding Cable meets or exceeds the applicable requirements of the following standards and specifications:

  • ASTM B-3: Specification for Soft or Annealed Copper Wire
  • ASTM B-172: Specification for 30 AWG (Class K) Rope-Lay-Stranded Copper Conductors Having Bunch-Stranded Members, for Electrical Conductors
  • ICEA S-75-381: Portable and Power Feeder Cables for Use in Mines and Similar Applications

CONSTRUCTION

Pro-Line’s Non-UL Black Welding Cable is manufactured using annealed rope-stranded bare copper conductor. A paper tape separates the conductor from the Jacket. A premium-grade 105°C EPDM black jacket is extruded onto the cable. Red jacket is also available and subject to economic runs.

WEIGHTS, MEASUREMENTS AND PACKAGING

RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS

Conductors shall be a Non-UL Welding Cable with a temperature rating between -55°C to 105°C. Conductos shall be suitable for operation at 600 volts. Conductors shall be annealed stranded copper (Class K), with a Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) Jacket. The Conductor shall also be seperated from the jacket with a paper tape seperator. Non-UL Black Welding Cable shall be PRO-LINE WIRE & CABLE or approved equal.
